Neem oil is unrefined, cold-pressed, thick, has a strong smell, at room temperature is paste-like consistency. Neem oil is extracted form nuts in Ghanaian cooperative according to ancient traditions - cold pressed by hand.
This oil is known and used from ancient times in Ghana for therapeutic purposes; it is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin E and essential amino acids. Neem helps restore skin's moisture balance, elasticity, disinfects and regenerates skin. Neem oil has very strong anti-bacterial properties; therefore, it is recommended for problematic, greasy and spotty. This oil treats acne, eczema, moisturizes very dry skin. Pure neem oil can be applied directly on the skin or mixed with other oils or butters. Neem oil is liquid after warming a bit.
Neem oil is a very effective 100% natural pesticide, used on organic farms. The aim is to get rid of pests, protect the environment and not to harm humans. The oil kills parasites, lice, ticks and repels insects. It is recommended to spray the oil for harvest every season.
The use for plants: warm the neem oil in the hot water bath, mix 8 ml of neem oil with 1 liter of warm water and 5 ml of liquid soap (preferably organic). Shake the mixture until the oil disolves into water and soap. Spray this mixture for indoor or outdoor plants. The best results are achieved by spraying a mixture on plants every three days for two weeks.
Neem oil repels fleas and ticks; therefore, it can be used for animals. The oil should be mixtured with water and soap.
